Tires featuring a symmetrical tread pattern focus primarily on providing a smooth, comfortable ride and low rolling resistance. They also offer increased tread life thanks to the ability to rotate the tires to any position on your vehicle. 

The Ziex S/TZ05 was built for large SUVs and pickup trucks; in other words, body-on-frame vehicles. This is why the S/TZ05 is available in larger sizes (20 - 24 inch wheel diameters). Meanwhile, the Ziex CT60 A/S was tested and developed using crossovers like the Toyota RAV4, which are built with unibody construction. Tires will wear and perform much differently depending on the vehicle that's riding on them. This is certainly the case for these two tires. So, if you're looking for a smooth, comfortable ride year-round and you have a crossover or small SUV, go with the Ziex CT60 A/S. If you have a large SUV or pickup truck, go with the Ziex S/TZ05.

Falken designs its tires to ensure a smooth, comfortable and quiet ride. One way this is done, in the case of the Ziex S/TZ05, is by designing the tread pattern with both wide and narrow shoulder lug grooves. Varying the width of these grooves balances out the noise that can be created by tires making contact with the road.
