Falken Tires’ Cole Mamer Takes 1st In Pro Lite Class At Champ Off Road Races In Crandon, Wisconsin

CRANDON, WI Team Falken’s Cole Mamer continued his winning ways over Labor Day weekend in Crandon, Wisconsin, taking first in the Pro Lite Class of the World Championship Off Road Races and finishing third in the 51st Crandon World Championship Cup at Crandon International Off-Road Raceway.

Mamer started off Saturday’s Pro Lite race in 6th place, but he quickly moved his way to the front of the pack. He steadily increased his lead throughout the race, eventually taking the checker more than five seconds ahead of second place.

In addition to his usual Pro Lite dominance, this action-packed weekend also gave Mamer the chance to compete for the first time in a Pro 4 truck prepped by fellow Team Falken driver Troy Cox. Mamer ran to a 4th place finish in the Pro 2 vs. Pro 4 World Championship race on Saturday and finished third on Sunday’s conclusion to the same event. When all was said and done, Mamer had earned enough points to take 3rd place overall for the 51st Crandon World Championship Cup.

“That was really impressive,” said Falken’s Jonathon Bradford, Manager, Motorsports and Events. “Cole was just riding on rails all weekend, taking home the big prize in his regular class, and then basically running as a rookie in the Pro 4 class, and earning a 3rd overall. You can tell he’s just so confident out there.”

Mamer has been winning races all over the country since the off-road season returned in 2020. “This one’s awesome,” Mamer smiled. “Crandon is a historic racetrack, and this is a great series. I’ve been racing primarily on the West Coast and haven’t been able to make all the Champ Off Road Races here in the Mid-West, but it was pretty cool to run against these guys and come away with a win. The Pro 4 truck was a blast. Thanks to Troy Cox for letting me wrangle it into third. And as always, I appreciate Team Falken’s support. The Wildpeak A/T3Ws continue to do everything I ask of them and more. We came here to end up on the podium and take home some trophies, and that’s’ exactly what we did.”

Mamer will head to Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park in Chandler, Arizona for Rounds 6-8 of the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series.
