Falken Tires Tears Through Tennessee Ultra4 Off-Road Event With First In 4600 Class

SOUTH PITTSBURG, TN – Falken Tires tore into Tennessee last weekend and took home the top spot in the 4600 Class with Jon Schaefer at ULTRA4’s Round 6 “Tear Down in Tennessee.” Schaefer ran Falken Wildpeak M/T tires to victory.

The second race of the year for the East Series saw drivers competing at the challenging Adventure Off-Road Park, which threw entrants tight fender-bending and rock-climbing hazards throughout the track design.

Schaefer and co-driver Sergio Pinillos took the 4688 RPM Extreme Jeep to the Tear Down, qualifying first in the 4600 class and never looking back during the race.

“I’ve run this course for two years prior to this event,” he said. “I finished third last time, but was determined to come out on top this year, so we ran as hard as we could. The track can be difficult, but my Wildpeak M/T tires still took me straight to the podium. That’s not bragging; that’s just confidence. Being first is a good feeling.”

“Jesse knows how to get the maximum benefit from his Falken Wildpeak M/T tires,” stated Douglas Fletcher, Falken’s Supervisor, Light Truck and Off-Road Events. “Our drivers have been superb brand ambassadors for Falken Tires because they know how to finish strong and carry our team banner to the top. It’s great working with them.”

“We look forward to the next ULTRA4 race in July where we anticipate our entire Falken team will have success,” added Eric Carlos, Falken Motorsports Specialist, Off-Road. “Our Wildpeak M/T and A/T3W lines continue to impress both on and off the track.”

The next round of the ULTRA4 Racing Series returns to Mao-Jay, OK for the Vision Off-Road race on July 13-17, with four days full of regional racing and additional points.
