Falken Tires Scores Pair Of Podiums At Amsoil Championship Off-Road Series Rounds Three & Four

CRANDON, WI – Team Falken Pro4 driver Jimmy Henderson scored his first podiums of the season with a second place and a third in Rounds three and four of the 2022 Amsoil Championship Off-Road Series at Crandon International Speedway this past weekend. Henderson ran on Falken Wildpeak A/T3Ws, which easily adapted to varying track conditions during the two-day Forest County Potawatomi Brush Run.

In Round 3, Henderson qualified second, but with tough competition, found himself quickly in 7th. However, by the mandatory caution, he had moved to fifth, and worked through the muddy surface to get himself onto the podium in third.

“We were excited for Jimmy to get his first podium of this season on Saturday,” said Eric Carlos, Falken Specialist for the Off-Road and Light Truck racing teams. “Watching him work through the crowd was exhausting, but he was determined to get back to the front.”

Third, however, wasn’t enough for Henderson. So for Round 4, when the skies had cleared, the Falken driver took his United Rentals/Falken Tires truck to the line and this time would not let the “Crandon land rush start” hinder him. He quickly moved to second place and held his place to the finish.

“My Falken Wildpeak A/T3W tires gave me all the forward bite I needed,” said Henderson. “Falken gave me a great tire, my crew gave me a great truck, and it’s my job as the driver to make everything work together. I really enjoy working with Falken, but now I need to take one more step up to be where we want to be as a team. And that’s at the top of the box.”

“Clearly, Jimmy’s aggressive nature and consistent driving skills – along with his Falken Wildpeak A/T3W tires – are getting it done,” added Douglas Fletcher, Falken’s Supervisor, Off-Road and Light Truck. “We have big expectations for this team and they’re delivering. Jimmy had a bit of tough luck in the first two rounds of the series, but the team always works hard to put forward their best effort. That was clear this weekend as they were the only Pro4 team to double podium.”

Henderson’s team is currently in third place in the points race, just seven points behind second.

Next up on the Championship Off-Road Series trail is the ERX Off-Road National at ERX Motor Park, just three weeks away on July 15-16 at Elk River, MN.
