Falken Tires’ Cole Mamer Takes Third Place In All-New Championship Off-Road Series

ELK RIVER, MN – Third-year Falken Tires Driver Cole Mamer finished third in the Pro Lite Class in the brand new Championship Off-Road series at ERX Motor Park in Elk River, Minnesota, last weekend.

The International Series of Champions, Inc. (ISOC)-sanctioned series is new for 2020 and will include five short-course off-road events staged in the Midwest. All events are being live-streamed for fans to enjoy from home, though tickets are still available for those hoping to attend in-person.

Mamer started the race strong, taking the lead before the end of lap one of the 14-lap race. He held onto first until lap seven when his motor began having issues and lost power. He was able to nurse his Ford truck in less than ideal conditions and finish third.

“The Midwest is home to some of the fastest drivers in short-course off-road racing,” declared Brandon Barberena, Falken Tires’ Supervisor, Light Truck and Off-Road Events, “and Cole kept pushing as hard as he could, keeping his position to take that final podium position. It was a great start to our off-road season.”

The Championship Off-Road Series will move on to the Dirt City Motorplex in Lena, Wisconsin, in two weeks for its next event, while Mamer returns to the West Coast that same weekend to regain his Pro Lite title in the July 25th - 26th season-opener of the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series at Glen Helen Raceway in San Bernardino, California.

Mamer will run on Falken WILDPEAK A/T3W tires for the entire LOORS Championship series for 2020 as well as all other off-road events.

“I’ve been looking forward to getting back in the driver’s seat and competing against the best drivers out there,” said Mamer. “It’s been tough waiting for the racing season to begin, but we’ve been working on our truck and our equipment and naturally Falken has been with us every step of the way. We’re determined to keep our feet on the pedal and on the podium this year.”

The 2020 Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series is a short-course off-road racing series that features 10 rounds, plus the Off Road Championship, on the West Coast of the United States, from July to November. There are four professional classes, including Pro Lite and Pro 2. For more information, visit www.lucasoiloffroad.com.
