Falken Tires’ McNamara Brothers Score Two 3rd Places During California’s MORE Racing Series At Glen Helen Raceway
SAN BERNARDINO, CA – Falken Tires saw its veteran Poor Boys Racing team, run by brothers Sean and Brian McNamara, take home two third place finishes in the MORE Racing Series over the Fourth of July weekend held at Glen Helen Regional Park. Participating in the GG Lighting Freedom Cup, the team competed both Saturday and Sunday, qualifying in third and retaining that position throughout each grueling 36-mile race. The brothers ran their Jeep on Falken Wildpeak M/T tires without issue.
“Our team prepped the Jeep well and together with our Wildpeak M/T tires, we had a solid performance,” said Brian McNamara. “We pushed hard, but the competition pushed back. Nevertheless, we maintained our third place throughout the two days and stayed in the points race.”
“Sean and Brian continue to deliver with their team effort in this ultra-competitive MORE series,” said Doug Fletcher, Falken’s Supervisor, Light Truck and Off-Road Events. “The brothers have long represented Falken, running on our Wildpeak M/T tires and driving their well-equipped Jeep that’s designed to rock crawl its way right to the podium. We anticipate seeing them there in future races.”
MORE stands for Mojave Off-Road Racing Enthusiasts and its ProAm Championship Series continues to attract some of the best off-road teams and drivers from the West Coast and throughout North America. With three rounds in the books, Round 4, the PCI Race Radios 300, will take place September 24, 2022, at legendary Johnson Valley, CA, home of King of the Hammers.
