Team Falken's Strong Championship Weekend At Ultra4 Season Finale

DAVIS, OK – Team Falken spent the weekend in Davis, Oklahoma dominating ULTRA4’s Season Finale at Cross Bar Off Road Park, winning two races and taking home the National Points Championship in two different classes. Long-time Falken driver Dan Fresh and co-driver Mike Kim, competing in the 4500 Class, took first place in the last event of the season and scored enough points to walk away with the 2020 National Championship. Different class, same result for Team Falken’s Josh Atteberry and co-driver Jack Gessner, who took first in the 4600 Class and earned the points necessary to win the Season Championship along the way.

“What a great way to finish the season,” said Jonathon Bradford, Falken’s Manager, Motorsports and Events. “Everyone at Falken is so proud of what Dan, Josh, and their teammates accomplished this season. They worked hard all year long, and seeing them both win National Championships while running our Wildpeak M/T tires is the cherry on top.”

Fresh qualified second in the 4500 Class and quickly moved to the front of the 30- to 32-mile course, running the duration. While Fresh arrived at Cross Bar with the 4500 Class points lead, Atteberry began the weekend with the third most points in the 4600 class. When all was said and done, both drivers would end up winning their respective classes thanks to strong performances in the season finale.

“We took the Falken-inspired Teal and Blue Savvy Off Road rig to victory,” said Fresh. “Despite the abnormal conditions caused by COVID-19, the folks at ULTRA4 Racing planned each race safely and the competition came ready to run. We raced hard all year long and we couldn’t be happier to take home the 4500 Class Championship for the second year in a row.”

“We worked hard to get our vehicle ready to race,” said Atteberry. “We were competitive right from the start this weekend, as we have been all season, qualifying and finishing first. You can’t ask for a better result coming into a race weekend. We were determined to follow up our 2019 National Points Title with another Championship, so to accomplish that this weekend was incredible.”
